It turns orange this month with the arrival of leafy clementines along with a huge range of other citrus fruits. Clementines are a little early but already eating well.
We sell a huge range of speciality citrus including lines such as Sudachi, Combava and Kabosu.
Apples include Kissabel, Golden Rose, Reine des Reinettes, Golden Rose, Granny Smith. UK varieties right now are Cox, Braeburn, russets. For pears, we recommend Red Williams and Green Williams. These will end this month and be replaced by Comice.
Other fruits include Lovita plums, pomegranates, Sharon fruit, quince. French figs are over.
UK brassicas include kales, Brussel sprouts and tops - although these will improve with some frost. Huge range of squashes.
A great month for root vegetables including Jerusalem artichokes, chervil root, radishes, beetroots, celeriac.
November brings a wide range of Italian produce including the bitter leaves: radicchios, puntarelle, Cime di Rapa.
END OF SEASON
-Charentais melons & watermelons.
-French figs.
-Wet walnuts
-Provence tomatoes.
