Chris Molyneaux can trace back his family’s farming heritage five generations in Lancashire. He grows a fantastic variety of kales including the variegated heritage varieties pictured below.

Molyneaux Kale Company launched in 2013. The soils on the farm are ideal for this brassica, which at the time was far from fashionable. Chris has trialled many varieties and his lines now include Purple Queen and White Cloud. He has also trialled some of the Italian bitter leaves such as Tardivo radicchio.
