Happy New Year! It’s going to be a big one for us at Le Marché. We’re all fired up to take the company to the next level.

Key new arrivals this month are forced rhubarb from Yorkshire, blood oranges from Sicily and Seville oranges from Spain.

It’s a fabulous month for all citrus. Our lines include Buddha’s Hand, Finger Limes / Caviar, Chocolate Orange, Bergamotm Cedro, Yuzu and ultra rare varieties such as Yuko. Ask us for our full list of specialist citrus.

Other fruits in season include pomegranates, quince, kiwi (green / yellow / red) and apples and pears (from store). Portuguese wild strawberries will be along later in January.

Radicchios are excellent in January. We also recommend artichokes, winter tomatoes and calçots from Catalonia in Spain.

Most brassicas and root crops also eat well at this time of year.
