Thank you Bob - our brilliant Buyer

Marcus says: “I would like to say a huge thank you to our buyer Bob King, who retired this week. Bob - I couldn’t have done it without you. You have been by my side all the way. We now supply nearly all the 3 Michelin star restaurants. 9 out of the 11 Michelin three key hotels. Not to mention all of the other stars, and restaurants, clubs and so on - the list goes on …. Not bad for a couple of old greengrocers.”

Bob spent a lifetime in the trade. His father ran his own wholesale business in Stratford Market, where Bob worked, before a move to Spitalfields. Bob then opened a greengrocers shop in Romford in the 1980’s, which he ran for 25 years, before moving to work with Le Marché. We wish him all the best in his well-earned retirement.
