MARKET REPORT FOR FEBRUARY 2023

Highlights this month include Yorkshire rhubarb, white asparagus from the Loire, pineberries, wild strawberries and terrific citrus. We're loving the Cara Cara oranges. Also leafy kumquats, Navels etc. Morels now showing lovely colour. First Jersey Royals mids due in a couple of weeks.

From Italy, lines include Romanesco courgettes, Tardivo, monk's beard / agretti and puntarelle. Other highlights include January King, kales, calcot onions.

Morels from China are good quality - there was a small break in supply due to celebrations for Chinese New Year. (Not long, too, until European Morels). Looking forward to the first wild garlic when there is a break in the weather.
