MARKET REPORT FOR MARCH 2023

This is an exciting time for fresh produce, with spring in the air. We are thrilled to have supplies of the first wild garlic and Pertuis green asparagus. Jersey Royal potatoes have also just started. Yorkshire forced rhubarb still available. For fruit, blood oranges still on hand along with lovely Gariguettes. Candonga strawberries also in season and available as a special order. It’s a good time for all the artichokes, radicchios, puntarelle, cime di rapa. We are also supplying peas and broad beans from Italy. Winter tomatoes include Marinda, Sun Black etc. Roots include Jerusalem artichokes, parsnips. UK brassicas include Cavolo Nero, January King, kales.
